Welcome to the new Kidsafe South Australia Web Page

KidSafe SA provides an education and information service for parents and carers of children on all aspects of child safety and injury prevention. We operate the KidSafe Centre located in the Main Foyer of the Kermode Street Entrance, at the Women`s & Children`s Hospital in North Adelaide.

The Centre offers illustrative information and displays featuring working safety products. A comprehensive range of safety products is available for inspection and purchase. Brochures, fact sheets and booklets on such subjects as prevention of scalds and burns, drowning, falls, choking and poisoning are available to visitors and by mail. Community groups, students and parents are invited to visit the KidSafe Centre. A range of safety products and some of the publications are available for sale. Both a Mail and Telephone Order Service is offered. KidSafe SA also offers a telephone information service.

We offer a "Community Talks Program" on child safety and injury prevention to new parent and other interested community groups, presented at their usual meeting place, by a KidSafe SA staff member. (Bookings are essential).

Free Injury Fact Sheets

KidsafeSA have a number of specific Fact Sheets available including `Top Ten Injuries to Children` and `Electrical Safety in the Home`.
